It's possible that Zolisa Xaluva will return to 'Gomora.'

Zolisa Xaluva has clarified allegations about his departure from Mzansi Magic's drama series Gomora, claiming that he departed due to a tight schedule, and that he did so amicably.

This comes after Shirley Adonisi, the director of M-Net local entertainment channels, released a statement to TshisaLIVE confirming Zolisa was leaving the show and thanked him for his contributions.

"Telenovelas are created to carry various primary story arcs that change annually. As a result, it goes without saying that characters appear and go. Season 2 of Gomora revolved around Melusi, Thati, and Gladys, who formed a love triangle. Melusi divorced Gladys and lost Thati to another man at the end of Season 2.

"The principal story thread in Season 3 revolves around Sonto's despair as she is forced to watch Thati deteriorate into the darkest form of herself. As viewers have come to expect from Mzansi Magic productions, the new season promises to be exciting. Zoliswa Xaluva's contribution to the success of Gomora seasons 1 and 2 by bringing the Melusi persona to life is much appreciated by Mzansi Magic. Buyile Mdladla's outstanding performance as Phumlani in season 2 has likewise left us speechless. We hope to collaborate with Zoliswa and Buyile again in the future."

Zolisa hinted at a comeback to the show in an interview with TshisaLIVE, adding that his hectic schedule made it "difficult to shoot Gomora" this year.

"We decided to give the character a reset button. Melusi went from being a respectable member of society to philandering. There were some writing errors, such as character development that was incongruous with the ideals and gains gained in season 1. His incarceration narrative is a chance for atonement. He stated, "The leaving was pleasant, and we all look forward to the possibility of returning." Zolisa is now working on a Netflix feature film about a professional football player for one of the main three leagues clubs in SA.
