SENZO MEYIWA'S MURDER TRIAL RESUMES

In a bungled heist in Vosloorus, east of Johannesburg, in October 2014, the legendary Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalie Senzo Meyiwa was gunned down in his Girlfriend's home. Kelly Khumalo, her mother Ntombi, sister Zandi, Zandi's boyfriend Longwe Twala, and his pals Mthokozisi Twala and Tumelo Madlala were present when this happened.
The case of Senzo resumed on the 22nd of April 2022 after it was postponed many times and its been 8 years ever since he was killed. The five men who are suspects of Senzo's murder and attempted murder of Zandile appeared in Gauteng High Court on the 26th of April 2022 and they pleaded not guilty of the murder as they said that they were hired by Kelly Khumalo.
Thabo Mosai, a forensic fieldworker was the stand witness on the 26th of April 2022 as he was the one who arrived at Kelly's home in Vosloorus on the 24th of October 2014. The defence lawyer said that the evidence was tempered with before the forensics arrived. The trial was postponed to the 2nd of May 2022, Monday, as the first witness takes a stand in the murder trial. Kelly Khumalo will also take a stand as a witness.
